Action Scene: Sirius goes to retrieve Remus

Sirius stood on the doorstep to the house he had not been to in years. He was going to see Remus again and his heart hammered in his chest. Memories of their last night together played across his mind but he pushed them back and told himself he was here for Remus and to help him with his change only. He couldn't give away a thing about what had happened; he had to protect Remus. He eyed the place warily and took a deep breath as he lifted a hand to knock on the heavy wooden door, wondering who would answer and hoping against hope that it would be Remus.

	Apparating took a lot of energy, it was true, but in all honesty Remus was sure he could handle the task himself. 	Sirius nodded and opened the door, ushering Remus outside. He shut the door behind him and wrapped one arm around Remus's waist, pulling him close. Looking around surreptitiously, he leaned down to Remus, "Here we go," he murmured across his ear and focused on Hogwarts then Apparated them to the grounds. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	As soon as he felt their feet touch the grass of the Hogwarts grounds, Remus leaned into Sirius's embrace, framed his face with his hands, and kissed him deeply. Merlin, it felt good to be free again. "Twenty minutes," he said quietly a moment later. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Sirius sighed and leaned down, kissing Remus again, sliding his tongue along side of Remus's slowly and gently as he ran his hands along Remus's back. 	"Forest," Remus breathed, the combination of his oncoming change and the intensity of Sirius's kiss depriving him of lungfulls of oxygen. "Take me to the Shack in the morning." There was a bed in the Shack, and walls and a ceiling. Always preferable to waking up on the cold, damp forest ground. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Sirius nodded and looked up at the sky, noting the setting sun. He took a deep breath and stepped back from Remus. Focusing on his magic, he closed his eyes and changed into Padfoot. He shook his head and looked up at Remus, growled softly then barked as he moved and stood by his side. He nudged his leg, looked out at the forest then looked up at Remus again.
