Action Thread: You're going to teach me what?

Harry juggled the books he held with both arms, careful not to let any slip and fall. He shouldn't have waited until last minute to purchase them, but then again, there were a lot of things he probably shouldn't be doing. Like going to Snape for lessons so he could sit through his NEWTS.

The world was going to end.

He just knew it. Shrinking them all the moment he left the shop, Harry crammed them into his bag along with a few quills, a pot of blue ink and one of black, and a whole mess of scrap parchment.

The small slip that had the books listed on it had also come with the address to what Harry assumed was Snape's house and he raised his wand, signaling the Knight Bus. The trip was every bit as hazardous as his first was, and he wished he could have thought of a better way of getting to Snape's place.

A few bruises and bumped elbows later, Harry staggered out of the bus and onto a deserted street.

Draco picked up the Floo powder and hesitated. It had been a week since he had last talked to Severus. He wasn't too sure if he wanted to just burst in on him like this. Then again Severus had said to come whenever he wanted, and he did miss his Godfather. Draco nodded and threw the powder into the fire, Spinner's End.

Draco stepped out of the floo and checked to make sure his robes weren't covered in soot. He looked up with a grin and froze. Severus' name died on his lips as he took in the scene in front of him. Potter had his feet in Severus' lap and Severus had his hand on Potter's leg. He blinked hoping maybe it was a illusion, but they were still there.

	Severus' hand froze on Harry's knee when the floo burst to life. When Draco stepped out, he fought the urge to pull his hand away as if he were doing something wrong. "Hello," he said, voice calmer than he felt. "Care to join us for tea?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Tea?" he said slowly, "You're inviting me to tea." Draco stared at him incredulously, shaking his head. "Well if this is not pursuing, I'm almost afraid to ask what your definition of pursuing is," he said coldly. He grabbed the floo powder from the mantle. "Sorry to disturb you." 	"Don't be ridiculous. You're always welcome here Draco, which you very well know." Severus turned his attention to Harry. "Draco doesn't need to firecall before dropping by, this is his home, as it were" he pointed out, then look at Draco again. 	"Forgive me for interrupting," he said in a dull voice. Wondering for a moment how he could possibly be so polite at a time like this. 	Severus' hand tightened on Harry's leg. "Nobody has to leave," he said, rolling his eyes. "If Draco wishes to speak to me in private, we can do so in the other room. 	Draco shook his head, picking up the floo powder. "No, it's fine. It wasn't important, I just..." he trailed off. "It doesn't matter anyway," he said decisively. He threw the power into the fire. "Forgive me for interrupting," he said once more. "Enjoy the rest of your afternoon," he said before turning around and flooing home. (Reply to this) (Parent)
