Action Thread: You're going to teach me what?

Harry juggled the books he held with both arms, careful not to let any slip and fall. He shouldn't have waited until last minute to purchase them, but then again, there were a lot of things he probably shouldn't be doing. Like going to Snape for lessons so he could sit through his NEWTS.

The world was going to end.

He just knew it. Shrinking them all the moment he left the shop, Harry crammed them into his bag along with a few quills, a pot of blue ink and one of black, and a whole mess of scrap parchment.

The small slip that had the books listed on it had also come with the address to what Harry assumed was Snape's house and he raised his wand, signaling the Knight Bus. The trip was every bit as hazardous as his first was, and he wished he could have thought of a better way of getting to Snape's place.

A few bruises and bumped elbows later, Harry staggered out of the bus and onto a deserted street.

Severus hummed and turned his back to Harry to hide the pleased smile on his face. When he turned back around, his features were placid once again.

He took a few steps closer to Harry, brushing his body against the him as he reached over his shoulder for a pestle. "Since you failed miserably at Occlumency, today I'm going to teach you how to brew a potion to counter Veritaserum."

	Harry staggered backwards into a counter, eyes wide in surprise, but it didn't hurt. He quickly began imagining the Gryffindor boys dorm, but it kept being nudged away, and Harry couldn't decide if it was his fault or Snape's. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Harry kept pushing up the imagine of the empty room, getting worried as Snape kept brushing it aside. What if he saw something? Like what? Harry chewed on his lower lip until he ripped the skin, and a pinprick of pain bloomed from the spot. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Severus watched as bits and pieces of their conversation on the Malfoy's patio came to the forefront of Harry's mind. 	Harry waited, letting the memories come. It was useless at this point to try and stop them, especially since he didn't care. It was surprising to realize, he had no issues letting Snape rummage around in his head. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	When Harry stopped fighting, Severus wasn't sure what to make of it. The memories were coming quickly now, but it was the image of himself as a child, smiling at Lily that had him withdrawing. He was breathing heavily when he broke the connection with Harry, looking at him curiously. (Reply to this) (Parent)
