Action Scene: On the way to the Great Hall

Harry dressed as quickly as he could, quickly running his fingers through his hair, and grabbed his wand before leaving his dorm room. There were a few other Gryffindors awake in the Common Room but Harry didn't want to talk to them. His parents were in the Great Hall. Nothing else could compete with that.

He saw Ginny standing near the portal and he stopped. Ginny. He could think of nothing else but her during the battle of Hogwarts. He just had to talk to her. His parents wouldn't mind.

"Ginny," he called out.

	She unconsciously took a step closer to Harry, inhaling and taking in his delicious scent. The last time they kissed wasn't long enough. She wanted to kiss him again. "I'm good. Mum wouldn't let me out of her sight for ages. But she's gone now. She's with dad." She took another sniff of his musk and stiffled a moan. "Where are you off to in such a rush?" 	Harry led Ginny outside the portal and they began walking towards the Great Hall. The warmth exuding from Ginny was distracting him, even though he greatly wanted to see his parents. But this was a good thing, Ginny meeting his parents and vice versa. A very good thing. "We're heading to the Great Hall. I have some people I'd like you to meet." (Reply to this) (Thread)

Alive? Hadn't his parents been dead for years and years? She took Harry's hand, their fingers curling together, needing his touch. "That's wonderful to hear, Harry," her voice a little faint. "How?" Wait, she realized and perked up. Harry hinted that others were alive as well. Did that mean...her brother? "Is Fred alive? George and mum will be so thrilled! Oh Harry!"

	Seeing Ginny look so defeated made Harry feel like a complete arse. Why did he have to bollocks things up with her all the time? "Tonks and Remus, Sirius, and even Snape. They're alive along with my parents." He spoke quickly, hoping to distract her. "You'll love my parents, I think. I know they'll love you. They're all waiting in the Great Hall with Luna." 	She nodded, turning away so Harry could not see nearly formed tears in her eyes. She would not cry in front of him. Never again. Harry did not like crying and she would not cry.
