Action Scene: The morning after the night before

Severus didn't want to open his eyes. He was afraid if he did, that light he saw from behind his eyelids would stab straight in to his aching head. His mouth felt lik something had died inside of it, and idly wondered if he had a hangover potion in his stores. His mattress felt lumpy and he tried to shift positions, only to be greeted by a sleepy murmur that didn't come from his lips. Severus froze, pieces of the night before flitering through his mind. If he didn't have his clothes on when he opened his eyes, he was going to need more than a hangover potion.

Severus finally turned his head to look at Harry. "You're taking this surprisingly well."

"Not much surprises me anymore," Harry admitted, tilting his head to the side.
