Background:
Donghae never thought there was anything particularly weird or different about himself. But when he was a child and started to tell his parents that he could make a pencil roll across the table without touching it things changed, for the worst for Donghae. At first, his parents thought it was simply childish fantasy and a wild imagination, but eventually it got to a point where they thought that something was wrong with their son. Not sure what to do - and somewhat embarrassed about Donghae's tall stories of moving pencils without touching them - Donghae was sent away to 'get better'. He couldn't understand at such a young age, however, because he didn't think he was sick.
He spent quite a long time there, and it wasn't until he was thirteen that he was deemed 'recovered' and alright to leave. It still made no sense to Donghae, though, because nothing had changed much from the time he'd been there until the time he left, and he didn't think he'd been crazy in the first place. Instead of going home to live with his parents however, there was too much pent-up resentment by then, Donghae went to live with an aunt, though he never tried to tell her, or anyone else, about how he could move things by simply thinking about it; no one was going to believe him, and he'd been through all that already.
Most everything after that was a bit of a blur for Donghae, he went to school because he wanted as normal a life as possible, graduated reasonably well, even made a few friends, if not lasting ones, along the way, and had as little contact with his parents as he could (something that was appreciated on both sides). He moved out of his aunt's and went to college and studied business, though with no real idea what he actually wanted to do with himself, and things were working out just fine for him, until his second year when Donghae just dropped out; whether it was because it was a subject he'd no real interest in, or something more personal, he still has no idea. It was a bit of a rough patch for him, he was also kicked out of the place he'd been living, took any jobs he could get a hold of, and crashed on a friend's couch, and then floor. Eventually though, Donghae found himself a good job working in an internet cafe and at 23 is now considering taking a night class in something, something that is not business. And just recently, he managed to upgrade from the friend's couch to an apartment of his own. Small, cheap and a little on the crappy side, but its his.
Donghae is, for the most part, a generally cheerful person, he tries to be positive and look on the bright side, he's friendly (if a little shy sometimes) and always ready with a smile. A touch sensitive, and a little impulsive, and maybe sometimes too enthusiastic about some things. And has a strong tendancy to space out and daydream. Knowing what he can do has never bothered him, but how people will react if he was to ever tell them, that's a different story. He's never thought he was mentally unstable, but he never wants to go back to the place where his parents sent him for so long, so he makes a point to never mention it, to anyone.
Preferred RP Style: paragraph!! I'm happy with IJ or AIM, though, just ask~ :D
