Background: Eunhye likes to joke that she's half gypsy or a nomad, and people half believe it to be truth - she's restless enough to be one. Born in Miami, she practically lived for the summer break because her family would always take her on holiday somewhere that wasn't Miami. Eunhye didn't care if they went to another city, or another state, or another country, as long as they went somewhere. She just had this need to be moving, and doing different things, and seeing different places, and meeting different people.
When she was 16, she decided that she wanted to move, and it didn't take too much convincing before she was packing her bags and on a plane to New York to live with her grandparents. Her parents had always thought that she would soon grow homesick and try to come back, but she didn't. She missed her parents, and the friends she had grown up with, but she didn't want to go back. New York was something new and different and exciting, and she settled in easily enough, even at school. She was friendly and easy going, not too outgoing but also not too shy either, and she knew how to have fun no matter what kind of people she was with.
Her interests were constantly changing, though she just put it down to the fact that she was young, and growing up, and wasn't it meant to take time and trial and error before you figured out who and what you were?
It wasn't until she'd left school that she realised that maybe her constant restlessness and need for change wasn't just a self-discovery process. She'd decided to not go to college because she couldn't think of anything that she wanted to devote herself to for four years (just the thought of it was enough to make her want to run screaming to another state - school had been bearable because it hadn't been optional, and she was the kind of who didn't fight against what couldn't be changed), and got a job instead. Six months later and she had changed jobs not once, but twice. It was then that she realised that maybe it wasn't a self-discovery process. Maybe this was just how she was, someone who was restless and always needing something new and different.
It was a bit of a disturbing realisation, and Eunhye promised herself that she'd stop being so silly because surely you couldn't go through life changing your decisions every five minutes ... but she never could quite stick to that promise. Six months was the longest she made it in a job before feeling like she would go crazy if she didn't find something else.
The only thing she never seemed to get bored of was people, or her friends. As undecided as she may have been about what she wanted to do, she was never, ever so easily bored of her friends. They were, perhaps, the only constant thing in her life, she even still kept contact with a few of her closest friends from back in Miami.
Boyfriends, though, didn't seem to fair so great. A date or two, maybe three, was all she ever seemed to manage with most of the men she was interested in. Yoochun had been the exception - they had been friends for a while before deciding to give a relationship a try, and Eunhye definitely didn't get bored. But it also wasn't really working, and it had been a mutual decision to break it off before things turned sour, so that they could at least still have a chance at keeping their friendship going.
Eunhye is 21 now, and still as restless as ever. Waitress, bar maid, tour guide, delivery girl, tele-saleswoman, nail artist, receptionist ... you name it and she's probably at least applied for a job doing it. Right now she's working as a maid in one of New York's big hotels, although she spends more time bouncing around on the king sized beds than she actually spends making them, and her friends are placing bets over which will happen first: getting bored and quitting, or getting sprung and fired. She lives in a little onebedroom apartment, though more often than not her bestfriend can be found crashing on her couch. She loves eating and shopping and singing and dancing and pretty much anything that involves other people and plenty of fun. She's up for pretty much anything, anytime, and she'll try anything once.
She also has the power of Clairvoyance, able to locate people that she concentrates on. She needs to know what the person looks like before she can do it. She also doesn't know for sure what exactly it is she's capable of doing. She has just always seemed to know where people were when she thought about it hard enough, like a gut feeling. Eunhye's friends like to go star-stalking with her, since she finds the celebrities more often than not. They're convinced she has inside sources that she's keeping quiet about. Eunhye just likes to call it the Hyedar.
