Claim; Hiroki Uchi Player's Name: Angelaa. Character's Name: Hiroki Uchi. Character's IJ:hirokidesu Nationality: Japanese What are they from? Former NEWS and Kanjani8. Currently an actor.
Human/Mutant/Vampire: Human Ability: n/a Background:Hiroki was raised in Osaka, Japan. He was born into a decent family. As a kid, Uchi found his amusement in doing what any kid would do, running around and hanging out with friends. Though times got hard for the Hiroki family, his father had lost his job due to a serious injury to the leg, which would keep him out for too long and Uchi tried to ignore this by going out and underage drinking or partying with friends.
Eventually, his father grew sick of Uchi's careless behavior at a time like this. On days when Uchi came home he'd get beat and scolded. His mom being a quiet and passive woman to her husband could only stand by and watch. Uchi wasn't angry with her because he knew his mistake. Enough was enough for Mr. Hiroki and he told Uchi to get out or contribute to this family and help out. Uchi did both, running away to Tokyo the following week. Uchi was only 15.
In Tokyo, he was able to aquire a job as a waiter in a local cafe. After each paycheck, Uchi saved what he could to buy food and other necessities, before sending the rest to his family in Osaka. At night, Uchi found a place to sleep at a co-worker's apartment. When business was slowing down at the cafe, Uchi took on another job as custodian at Tokyo Univarsity. Taking on two jobs wasn't an easy task for Uchi because he'd never had a job before any of this, nor was he used to cleaning up after anybody but himself.
The only sole enjoyment found in his job was being able to listen to the lectures and the music coming from any of the music major classes. He'd stay and listen for long periods of time, sometimes forgetting that he had a job to do. As Uchi was listening one day to a certain, Professor Takahiro's class, Uchi didn't know that class had ended early and was rather dumbfounded when the students came pouring out an hour earlier than usual. The professor came out and saw Uchi, knowing full well that he had been listening in on his classes for some time. He offered Uchi a 'scholarship' or something of the sort to attend classes. And, Uchi did, keeping his custodian job at the univsarsity, but going on the night shift this time. He quit the job at the cafe to attend the class which interfered with the cafe's hours. Uchi was 18.
After two years of working as a custodian and being a student at Tokyo Univarsity, Uchi wanted to pursue the dream of working as a music producer. It was hard goal to succeed, but he had a professor that knew he could make it. Upon hearing Uchi's dream to become a music producer, Professor Takahiro decided to pull some strings, which gained Uchi a job as music producer's aid. The only problem was; this job was in New York. Time wasn't on Uchi's side, he was given a week to think this through. With a final visit to Osaka, Uchi talked about this with his parents. Seeing how far his son had gotten in life by himself in a rough city, they insisted he go and pursue what he wanted to do and a few days later, Uchi was on the plane to LA.
His job as an aid was a well-paying job and he did his best to prove to everybody that he could do his best in every task handed to him. In every task, Uchi did it precisly, but quickly. In between breaks at work and some time at home, Uchi composed a few of his own songs and showed them to the man he worked under. He liked what he saw in the boy before him and let Uchi give his own opinions to new music they were testing out. And, Uchi did just that, not at all caring what everybody else thought of them. What he felt about each song, things that should be taken out, things that should be added in - Uchi gave his input.
Another two years of satisfying work, Uchi was crowned the job of music producer. He'd be working alongside the man he once worked under. The two worked well together and had the occasional disagreement. Other than that, work went smoothly and Uchi was proud of how far he'd gotten. Uchi's songs never made number one on charts, but he was still determined that he'd make it there no matter how many times people told him that he wouldn't. He'd stay up late into the night just to make sure songs were right and at times even spent the night in the studio. He was dedicated to his job because that was the only thing that he really had.
Now 24, Uchi still lives a lonely life as music producer. Though an outgoing man, he can only share that with his co-workers. Having a rather well paying job, Uchi never took advantage of the money and lived a rather simple life in an apartment. The only other person living with him was his dog, Yamu who spared the lonely feeling in Uchi's heart. Boy, did he miss home, but he never let that get in the way of his job.
