Background:
Kazuya was born into a family which controlled a massive advertisment company that had offices all over the globe. His mother was always busy running the company and his father and various maids were always taking care of him. As a young child, Kazuya excelled in sports and did well enough in academics. He was well liked by his peers in general, though not the most popular in the school.
Once he hit puberty, Kazuya suddenly became more popular. It started shortly after he was 14 and during one hormonal night, one of the younger maids seduced him (rather, he seduced her, but he didn't know that). Since that day, people started to gravitate around Kazuya more, being more interested in him than before. He quickly found himself class president and well recognised in school. Flourishing under the attention, Kazuya enjoyed his popularity to the
point of bedding classmates be they male or female. This spree of free love ended after one classmate commited suicide after Kazuya turned him down. Appalled by this, Kazuya started being a little colder to everyone, though they still seemed to like him.
Worried about how his school was acting around him, Kazuya made sure to go to a different university than everyone. However, his popularity followed him. Resigned to this fate, Kazuya started using his popularity to his advantage in subtle ways. He even slept with a professor in order to obtain a better grade in a subject he wasn't doing well in. As soon as he finished university, he entered his mother's company as manager (because of his mother's influence) and quickly rose in rank, due to his charm.
Kazuya's power of captivation has a maximum working radius of about 6 metres. The closer one gets, the more one is 'charmed' by Kazuya. He now realises that he has this power and tries to control it, though it is hard as his moods also effect his control. Usually he lets only a little of it leak out, but occasionally he loses a bit of control and it affects more people than he can handle. He is inherently a nice person but, wary of people's reasons for liking him, keeps things close to his chest. He has had a few relationships, but is also wary of giving his whole heart to someone.
At the age of 23, Kazuya now works as PR manager at the New York branch. His English is good, if slightly accented, and his charm leads to many successful deals. He is currently looking for a housekeeper...
