Background:
Eric was born to a rich family, who themselves had been born into money. The first of two children, Eric practically lived life like a spoilt little prince - everything he wanted, he got. It didn't matter what it was or how much it cost - if he wanted it, it would always be his sooner or later. He never had to work for something, and every problem he ever had could be solved instantly with the right amount of money. His family expected little of him, as long as he was presentable and well behaved in front of guests or visiting family members, then they cared little what he did.
But having everything is not always great, and as Eric entered his teenage years he found himself becoming more and more bored and restless. He still got everything that he wanted, but none of it gave him the same satisfaction. He began to play up, and thinking that perhaps he simply needed a new enviroment his parents took him out of the private all-boy's school he had been attending, and put him into a public school. They expected it to be a shock to his system, maybe even a wake-up call for their little prince - they never expected Eric to thrive in such an enviroment like he did. Charismatic and quick to adapt to every situation he found himself in, Eric was soon one of the most popular boys at the highschool. There were a few other rich kids there, but Eric was completely different from them. He was rich, but he wasn't stuck up. He didn't see himself as better than everyone else; he just had more money, and that was it. All he wanted to do was have fun, and it was because of this that he soon had a tightlyknit group of friends. The group was made of mostly the rougher kids, the ones with bad reputations, and they were like brothers to Eric. They introduced Eric to rap and hiphop and dance, something that Eric immediately fell in love with.
Mixing with such a group, Eric continued to cause trouble, but within a year or two his parents had stopped caring. Eric's younger sister had their full attention by now, a smart, well behaved girl with good looks and an irresistable personality, who wanted to pursue a career in either fashion or ballet. She was the Mun family's pride and joy, and Eric was glad of it since his parents expected little of him now. As long as he passed his exams and didn't get himself into any trouble that a cheque or two couldn't get him out of, then they didn't care, and Eric didn't care about their lack of interest.
Skipping classes or sleeping through them, Eric still managed to turn in his assignments on time, and get high marks on exams. Mixing with the people he did, it was always assumed that he was cheating - but after several investigations proved him innocent, it was assumed by everyone that Eric's parents were simply paying the school to pass their son. No-one stopped to consider the fact that maybe under that lazy exterior was bright and intelligent mind, even though everyone knew that he'd always been quick to come up with devious plans, and could talk his way out of any situation.
With absolutely no clue what he wanted to do with his life, he decided to major in Drama when he entered University although he had no intentions on actually doing acting as a career. He had no plan at all for his life, but he wasn't too bothered. He was sure that sooner or later he'd think of something that sounded interesting enough to do every day. Just as long as it doesn't an office job. He would rather hang himself than be stuck in an office five days a week.
After entering University, he became less of a trouble maker and more of a party boy. Every week he was dating a different girl, and every weekend he would either be throwing a party or be at someone else's, drinking, smoking, fucking any woman (or man) that he decided he wanted. It was during this phase of his life that a rather high Eric ended up being turned by an equally high vampire girl, neither of them really remembering much of it afterwards, but Eric was left with a new hunger that nothing ever quite seemed to fill, and senses that weren't quite the same as they had been before. But it was something new and unexpected and kinda cool, and Eric took it in his stride as if it was as normal as a change in hairstyle.
When he graduated University, he still had no idea what he wanted to do. At all. So he whiled away his time travelling America, and then Europe, and then Asia. Anywhere he wanted to go, he just went. No responsibilities, no obligations, no worries. He wanted to live like that forever.
But when he was 27, his father died of a sudden and unexpected heartattack. As both the eldest child and only son, Eric inherited his father's company. He had no idea what to do with it - he didn't even know what the hell the company did. Luckily for him, he didn't actually have to do anything, as there was a board of senior staff members who took care of all of that. All he had to do was sit in at meetings and sign papers and that was it.
It was the most painfully boring thing that Eric had ever had to do in his life.
He tried to take an interest in the company, but all he could think about was the fact that this was a 9-5 Monday to Friday office job, the one thing in life that he had always known he never, ever wanted. He toyed with the idea of selling the company, but he couldn't and he knew he couldn't - it had been his father's company, and his father's before him. You don't just sell something like that, and Eric knew it.
Now 28, he's kind of come to terms with his unfortunate circumstances. He makes going into the office more enjoyable by hiring sexy secretaries, their measurements more important than their secretary skills, and when he isn't 'dictating notes' to his secretaries, he's amusing himself with mini-golf in his office or sleeping on his office's luxury leather couch.
Still a playboy and fun-loving, Eric still thrives on parties and dancing and music. He might be 28, but he seems to be mentally stuck on the age of 18 with no intentions of growing up anytime soon. He loves sleeping until the afternoon and eating in bed, and wearing socks that have holes and don't match, and Sundays always start with pancakes and maple syrup.
