hey hey everybody. now that the cap has been lifted, please allow me to razzle dazzle seagull meme back into your loving arms. this is alicia (soft s), a 34 year old type a perfectionist and full time wine aunt.
she's the cousin to ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) rigatoni, earns an honest living as a baker and barista at her uncle's shop while living in the tiny add-on at the back of his house that still smells like lasagna and mothballs from when her nonna used to live there. she divorced her husband just before the pandemic and went from prada to nada after her catering business went bust in 2020. alicia has the memory of an elephant and is still metabolizing the humble pie she had to eat following her divorce and subsequent move to boston, but she used the lockdown to her advantage and started a cookie delivery service (loosely based on crumbl) which kept her from going entirely mad.
i'd love all sorts of lines, especially ones from the last go around that didn't take flight because i wrote her into a wall. anything goes, from extended family to anyone she might have hired or worked with before the catering company folded up. driver(s) for her current business, gen z's that work at the bakery and think everything she does is cheugy. the ann perkins who can do no wrong in her eyes, antique lovers, one or all three of her younger brothers, the male cousin she's been in competition with since birth, and anything else i might be able to broker off the back of her connections with caribou, tarmac and lionette.

Trying to dip this guys toes back into a comm. This is Travis, Maryland native, has bounced around the east coast most of his life. He's an event coordinator at his friend's restaurant, and when covid hit he started a social justice podcast with his restaurant friend and has kept it up after covid. Travis is a people person, moved to Boston in the summer of 2019, and would have spent a lot of time online during lockdowns chatting with people in 2020. I'd love to have some online buddies, maybe even some that he hasn't met in person yet because of how busy he's been once the world opened up again.

HELLO! this is elizabeth murphy aka zee/liz if ya please! she's the 21 y/o baby sister of cathotlic. she was born in los angeles, california and went between there and austin, texas due to divorced parents until she moved to boston at the age of 18 after high school. a few little fun facts: at fifteen she won a singing competition that made her somewhat popular for about 6 months before she flaked and cost her parents a bit of money to get out of a contract. i've described her as putting the fun in dysfunctional a couple of times because she's a bit much to deal with because she's finicky. she used her knowledge from her own singing coach to become a singing coach herself in a spare time when she's not jamming out with her band.
being a singing coach doesn't really pay the bills but it's enjoyable so if anyone needs an employee or a co-worker, hit me up with what they do! i'm also looking for members of her band (she's lead singer) that are probably frustrated with her at times because she doesn't want to get signed, she just wants to have fun. she's a commitment-phobe, a tomboy, always up for adventures (she'll come pick you up and not tell you where you're going til you're there so always be prepared for that), looking for people who let her crash on their couch until she had enough money, roommates now that she does have some money (thanks, dad), exes that were more like flings, frenemies, chaos friends, a group of girlfriends that get together once a week and anyone that has a dog that wants to make puppy play dates.

hi guys, meet neil kikumoto: equal parts duane “dog the bounty hunter” chapman and feral raccoon rifling through your trash. intrigued? see here for details. for those of you who aren’t inclined to click, neil here is a 23 year old student at mit currently overcompensating for a lack of direction in his life and a fear of being ordinary (of course, it’s parental trauma) by doing the absolute most to avoid being so — he’s a little bit all over the place, to put it kindly. he’s studying aerospace engineering which he’ll gladly talk your ear off about if you give him the space to do so, hosts student programming on 88.1 that’s loveline-adjacent and frankly, probably a little inappropriate for a school environment but somehow, he makes do, and could generously be described as between jobs but again, he’s making do. thriving, however? a stretch. aside from childhood friends and secret reba enthusiasts with battleroyale2, he’s a clean slate in terms of lines and connections so anything you can offer him would be welcomed, especially roommates who can either openly or secretly side eye him at getting up early on supreme drop days and co-opting the wifi (because he’s running a fucking business, okay?), friends from mit, people who have either encouraged or admonished his inability to commit to a real vocation, maybe an ex girlfriend or two and of course, people who absolutely can't stand him. i'll take one of everything, please!

hello everyone! i am bringing in salim khalil, a 30 year old tattoo studio owner. i would love to work out some professional lines for him. since he owns a business, he'll need someone to help manage other artists, the floors, apprentices, hiring, etc! i would also love for him to actively hire apprentices/students to help around the place and learn how to tattoo. he needs artists and possibly a piercer or two. the studio can hold 6 artists and piercers at a time. customers are needed too! he's been open since 2018.
other than that, personal lines are needed as well! he has a daughter of 10 months and so i have a specific idea for a mother for the baby. just let me know if you'd like to hear the details that i'll provide a custom for. he is from brooklyn so any brooklyn natives, childhood and/or high school friends are wanted. i will have him renting his place so roommates are welcome too.
he is overall calm and collected when he's at work, but outside of work he's really friendly and extroverted. he has a lot of positive energy and is usually really great to work with or hang out with. he's personable and loves to talk to random people especially if he's intrigued by them in some way. he has a loud, obnoxious, and infectious laugh that everyone remembers.
