Hannah worked hard not to roll her eyes. She had no choice about keeping busy, she already told him how they work her to the bone. She'd done the helping people thing, all that got her was them expecting her to help even more. Where was the reciprocity in that? They wouldn't... couldn't help her in return. But she was pretty sure Jake was just looking to end the conversation by tossing out random things anyway.
When he mentioned the barbecue, she arched a brow and forced herself to nod. That did not really sound like the safest choice in recreational activities around here, whether he realized it or not. Even if they didn't hate her for being a mutant, it was probably not the best choice to go chill alone with a bunch of overly horny dudes with pent-up aggression. "Yeah? Maybe I'll check it out."
