"I don't ignore you, okay?" Christien felt the heat coming to his cheeks again, but he kept his stare on on the bottle of soda. He knew she was right to an extent, but he would never admit it. "Don't you sit there and act like I gave up on everything you said! I went to those freaking classes and I couldn't get a job. Nothing helped, nothing ever helps!"
His grip was so tight on the bottle of soda that it began to turn his knuckles white. Realizing this, he placed the bottle on the counter top. "It is wonderful that you're living your life, I am seriously happy that you are happy. But I can't stand that everyone loves it here, that everyone is just so wonderful and I can't even take a class without getting kicked out of it!"
It did not surface in his mind that he let that little bit of news slip until he went to drink his soda. Once he realized it, his eyes widened considerably and he attempted to dart back into the living area.
