She returned his kiss, leaning against him gently. "But we were going to have fun. It's alright, really. You didn't know." It wasn't his fault that she still hadn't completely moved on, but at least she was better than she had been a few months ago. Then, the room has still been decorated and filled with all the things necessary to bring a baby home at any moment, despite it being almost five years since she'd lost her daughter. But she'd found the strength to clean all of that out, and maybe one of these days she'd be strong enough to repaint the walls and convert the room into something other than a ghost of a nursery.
