HOWDY! I'm Jordan, and I'm bringing you two and hopefully only two lord knows I need some self con wonderful, radiation-poisoned girls.
First, at this journal is Lenore Quinlan. She's Chronokinetic, with the ability to manipulate time. She can also create portals to teleport and has psychometric via going back in time and seeing the memory. She's a HYPER ball of ridiculousness. She's a try-anything-once type of girl, maybe twice if it was fun, and has been on Destruction Island for a bit now. Lenore has a bit of a foot-in-mouth problem and basically talks non-stop. She's on a constant adrenaline rush. Most people probably suspect drugs are helping her go go go but she's just like that. I'm #sorrynotsorry she is going to be SUPER annoying. But she's also really caring, loves people, and is all about being friends. Her full bio is here.
Second, at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) _manipulative I have Avery Rollins. She's an empath, with the ability to sense and manipulate emotions. She can also manipulate pain, either inducing it or taking it away. She was given up for foster care at 4, and has basically lived in group homes for most of her childhood. More recently, she was in a group home with Jakob Hale. She was kidnapped, along with him, by the Riken facility from their home. She was in confinement almost 100% of the time, given her abilities and how dysfunctional/incapable she was of interacting with other people because she couldn't turn her empathy "off." She was heavily sedated most of the time. Her only friend while there was Bambi who was in the cell next to her. Personality wise, Avery is... shy, nervous, anxious, and distant. She finds it difficult to understand her own emotions and separate them from other people's, isn't entirely sure she isn't just crazy and this ability thing may be real for her, and she's frequently overwhelmed. She has a hard time establishing any kind of connection to people and though she really WANTS to, she just doesn't know how. Tread lightly. She wants to be nice, but you're gonna have to be patient. As for me, I'm PST and I work M-F 9:30-6:30pm. I can sometimes tag from work if its slow but you'll mostly have to wait until I'm home or on the weekends. I dont have a super social life outside of work except for spending some time with my husband so when I'm not at work, I'll almost 100% be available. I have contact pages at both my journals if you prefer that route, but you can always e-mail me at any time @ geokinetically@gmail.com or use the g-chat feature! You'll get a quicker response via e-mail though. Hi Everybody!
I'm Lexi and so happy to be here! I'm available via email and gooogle hangouts via gamergeekchic@gmail.com or on discord via wonderlexxi#0429. I'm brining in two boys for now.
First, Jakob Hale (blinkandmiss), teleporter+, 22, government agent, straight. He's a Seattle native who was born into a rough situation. His mother had him in prison and he Was lucky to be adopted but they died when he was three and he went into the system. He lived in a number of group homes and was protective of a lot of the kids including Avery. When he was 17 he was taken by Riken. They helped him learn and expand his powers to teleport more people (four at a time now) and decided that he would be useful. He was tortured and broken down before being brainwashed and implemented as a government agent. He has a chip connected to his spinal chord so if he tried to teleport when it's active he will get a violent shock. He is an active agent, but beyond training he is mainly used for transport, not 'real' field work. He tends to dress in civies when not activated. He's been on the island since July 2015.
Second, Pierce Fitzpatrick Killian, or Fitz for short (mizikfelin), feline animorph, 35, Faction 'spy', pansexual. Fitz is an ex army vet who got into private security, traveling all over the north west. When the radiation affected him he realized he could turn into a cat. When people started to be transported to Destruction Island, he hid as an orange tabby who was quickly 'adopted' by a little girl. He lived on the island as a cat for a long while before stumbling across The Faction. His ability to go unobserved and the fact that no one knew he was on the island was beneficial. Only a handful of people through the first two leaders knew what he was, most of them are dead. Still, only a few people know he's really a human. But he does have three main cat forms he runs around in, his main is a stray named 'Mew' who is an Egyptian Manx. He also has Oliver, the orange tabby and Mr. Tumbles, a gray and white cat. Oliver and Mr. Tumbles are strays but have 'owners' (houses he frequents), these are open. Right now there are lots of cat/people to opportunities and soon more people interactions :D

This is probably going to be super redundant since we're all gonna be commenting to eachothers, but I'm Roz, and I'm coming in with two. At this journal I have Bart Finn. He's seventeen. Three years ago, he accidentally killed a classmate by shoving him over a railing. He was as an adult and instead of being placed in normal Prison, he was put in Riken, where he was an extremely nice test subject. Bart is what kind of happens when you raise your kids to be too polite. He's extremely nice, and extremely forgiving, and it's probably not the greatest survival mechanism. He's chatty and shy and a bit wonky because he spent his formative years in isolation, being low key tortured. And if you tell him to do something, there's a seventy percent chance he'll do it without question just because he got a bit too used to following orders and receiving no explanation for their purpose.
His mutation is superstrength and durability even though he looks like a good stiff wind could tip him over.
Over at copycatmimicry I have Alec who is twenty two. Who was an orphan under mysterious circumstances twice and raised in the foster system until he ran away around the age of thirteen. He remained homeless in seattle until he got poisoned with radiation and got checked out and wound up on this island. Alec is the opposite of Bart. He's obnoxious and sarcastic and wants to kick ass, so he's bristling under a government controlled quarantine a bit because that's not enough freedom. He's a part of the Faction, and his mutation is reactive power replication and observant muscle memory. If you hit him with a power, he'll copy it, and use it as his own. If you do a fancy move in front of him, he can emulate it with precision by just watching it. And he uses both of these to be a complete dick about it if he feels like it.
Mutant games are my bread and butter, and I haven't been in one in over a year, so I'm super stoked to be here, guys. I have a discord name but I downloaded it to play a dungeons and dragons game once with a writing group and haven't gotten around to using it as an actual means of contact so it's hella unreliable right now. Hello all! Most of you already know that I'm Nicole and I'm awesome. I've got two gals here (for now). On this journal is April. In a nutshell (she wants to know why she is in a nut shell), April is very cheery and excitable and happy to see/meet/know everyone/anyone/all the things. She has complete amnesia about her personal history, but she's not afraid to share that fact with others. Her abilities are Age Manipulation, with a side of Body Manipulation. Which means she is always going to look a little different. Sometimes she's a kid, sometimes she's an old lady, all the times, she's fun. She has enough identifiable features that once someone meets her in one form, she's recognizable in another form. April is harmless, innocent, but not dumb. She is eager to learn things and always happy to help out. In her unremembered past, she went through some bad things. She's a former Riken experiment subject and remembers nothing of her time there (amnesia, remember?). She needs all the lines, but it would be super great if someone remembered her from Riken to help her piece a few things together.
Then over at darynoconner I have, yup, you guessed it, Daryn O'Conner. She is a doctor at the Facility, and shhhhhh, current leader of the Faction. She was 'appointed' a few months ago when the former leader was taken by the government. Prior to that, she was the head Security Officer for the Faction, using her very strong telepathy to basically scan the crap out of everyone to make sure there are no snitches (because, technically, she can give them stitches). She was one of the original founding members of the Faction (four of the original seven are now dead), and since taking over she's doing things a little differently than in the past (more on that for Faction-y peoples). She also has telekinesis, which is handy, but her really nifty ability (unknown to the government) is Health Manipulation. Which means, don't piss her off, she'll stop your heart in the blink of an eye. In all seriousness, Daryn is the nicest, most caring person you'd ever meet, but she will also cut a bitch if necessary. She needs all the lines, some bait: she's a Seattle, WA native, formerly worked in the ER at Northwest Hospital, was in the first group of mutants sent to the Island, and is a Project Genesis subject (although she knows minimal information about this and it's a main goal of hers to find out more). OH, and she's mute. Like, no speaking, at all, ever, because her vocal cords were shredded. She can use ASL, text-to-speech apps, and her fave: telepathy.
So yay, let's play!

Hello everyone, I'm Kelly. I feel like this is going to get really weird because we're all going to have an OOC post but then do we still comment to everyone? then it ends up like a round robin and I think I'm getting ahead of myself ...
anyway ..
This is Ashe. He's the whole reason I'm here after all. He's a general asshole and a pain in the ass who doesn't trust anyone, especially not the government. He was a foster kid his whole life and believes the only person he can count on is himself. He's kind of a bitter snot but underneath he's a good guy. He's fiercely loyal to anyone who can manage to gain his loyalty. Not an easy feat. He's a resident and a cook. Oh and he's a phoenix. Well, he can become a phoenix. You know, the big bird of fire? Complete with flying and burning and healing and resurrection. He only has minor powers when he's not in bird form. Mostly he can enhance existing fires or light candles. Nothing fancy. Just stay away if he shifts because he has little to no control and it's not pretty.
So, that's Ashe. As for me there's an OOC post in Ashe's journal or I'm on discord (hoodrider#1013) or email (sassybunnygerard@gmail.com). I'm EST and I work M-F 8-4:30. My phone is always connected but I'm not always available. I'm not *supposed* to be on my phone at work. But we know how well that goes ... anyway I can be contacted in any of those ways and I'll respond eventually :P
