"Are you kidding?" Iris asked, stepping aside to the mirror so she could see just how horrid she indeed felt like she looked. And it was horrid. Absolutely and utterly so. Not bothering to withhold her giggle this time, she turned around quickly and modeled it, wondering what Sif would have had to say about it. "If you lob something at my head, it will get pulled into orbit. I'm certain this one is large enough to contain it's own gravitational pull."
Seemed likely enough.
Iris removed the had and put it back onto the peg that had been holding it ever so gently so as to keep all the ridiculously large feathers in their improper place atop the terrible mess of a hat. The conglomeration beside it, though, beat out the both hats completely. It was bright yellow felt with a black ribbon tied around it with a hideously large bow, a feather tucked in the back and a net across the front meant to cover the face.
She picked it up, put it on her head and looked in the mirror. It was a bee hat, she decided instantly. Black and yellow with the feather sticking out of it like some crooked stinger gone wrong. "Could this one be any more ridiculous? It looks like a giant wasp had taking residence on my head."
