"While I certainly hoped that you would remember me and our encounter, I could hardly be so presumptuous as to think I am the only lady you have had such a pleasurable afternoon with."
The fact that he actually remembered the exact location, however, put any such concerns to rest.
"What else indeed, unless you would like to add Passion and Pleasure to the mix?" While they often fell into the same category as Love and Beauty, they weren't necessarily synonymous.
"I thought they looked different," she replied, reaching out to the bravest of the lot, one who was close enough for her to feel her breath on her face, running a few strands of her hair lightly through her fingers. "I almost think they are even more beautiful." She winked at the God of Festivity herself.
Her most recent interactions with other deities had brought into sharp relief how often she was typecast and misunderstood. Phlegethon had treated her as little more than a whore until she had set him straight on that score. Only once had she done something that would actually qualify her as earning that title, and really, who in their right mind wouldn't sleep with four dwarves for the payment of an item that would bring the owner anything or anyone she desired?
Then came Athena, who if she remembered correctly, was a sister of her current companion. Could two siblings be any different? Wisdom had been rude, to the point of offending even Love. And that said something.
Outside of her dear brother, there were few that really understood Freyja, who she was, what made her tick. Pothos, for one. Dionysos was another she could comfortably put in that category. Someone who understood Love and Passion for what she was, with no strings attached. The others could call her a slut behind her back all they wanted. He knew her need for Pleasure, both for herself, and for others.
"I've missed you, you know. All of you," she laughed at one particular satyr, trying to impress everyone around him. These were creatures that understood lust and wanton behavior. It was in their blood, it was who they were.
