Dionysos took the plum back gently,, rolling it about on his palm as he listened to her. "Do you think me so addled that I could forget such a thing?" he teased, giving her a wink. He glanced around at the glade, so familiar yet of course so different after all this time as well. Perhaps not to her, but he could sense the changes in the vegetation.
"Why, I think it was right here," he said walking over to a particular patch of grass, "That you first tasted my vintage. I do believe the grass is the most beautiful I have seen."
He smiled over at her, and only larger as she asked about his Maenads. Giving a canny wink at her question, he glanced at them and back at her, "Why, whatever could you be considering that my dear ladies should not be privy to?" He laughed then, both at his tease and at the way the women gathered closer to the goddess, staring adoringly. "I sometimes leave them behind and wander unchaperoned, it's true. But I hate to think what they miss." Dionysos wrapped his arm around the shoulder of one of the women, her eyes bright and wild as she stared between the two.
"And these ones are new to you, and you to them. I had to bring them to meet Love and Beauty, for between the two of us, what else is there that matters in this world?"
