She couldn't help but smile mischievously when the music began to float to her ears, laughing with delight when the first of his companions emerged from beyond the trees. Then he appeared, looking as incredible as she had remembered. Bare above the waist, he was a vision to behold. She suddenly felt overdressed, even in her simple sundress. Well, there was nothing that said she couldn't change that as the need arose.
As he approached, grabbing the piece of fruit and taking a bite, she realized again how alluring simple acts like that could be. It had been long since she hadn't needed to play games, try to be the coy, seductive goddess one expected of her. With Dionysos, she could simply be herself, and enjoy every moment of it.
It was something she was in desperate need of.
"I think there is feast enough here to gaze upon, don't you?" She reached out to take the plum from his hand, taking a small bite, giggling and raising her hand to her lips as the juice threatened to dribble onto her chin, before offering the fruit up if he chose to take it back.
She sighed, watching his lustful entourage enjoying themselves, fawning over each other, trying to get a better glimpse of her, a small smile teasing her lips.
"I was somehow surprised to see them appear with you. I remember meeting some of them the last time. Do you remember that, Dionysos?"
She wondered if it was her memory playing tricks with her, but she was quite sure these were not the same ones as before. Of course, if he had left for a time, it stood to reason that he would need to select new ones, she supposed.
