He put it on. She was sort of surprised, and it was a rather odd sight. The robe should have made him look less manly, it was pink and fluffy after all. But somehow the juxtaposition of something that feminine in combination with Deimos just made him look more masculine.
Would that work with other guys that were really guy-type guys? Because a fluffy, pink robe on Hedylogos would just make him look like a rather tall, flat-chested pretty girl. There was a brief flicker of an image of Pothos in a the robe, and then her brain attempted to eat itself so she stopped that right away. Instead she put Ares in the robe and nearly choked herself trying not to laugh.
Now was not the time, because Nemesis was going to want answers and Dei…
Lottie blinked and stared. Deimos just told her to shut up, but he’d also said he loved her. That was twice in two days. From a brother that didn’t say those words very often at all. He showed them, he didn’t say them. So for the words to come out now made Philotes feel suddenly ashamed. Not for what they had done, but for their current situation.
Because it was all her fault. She was the one that moved them to this particular bedroom. And maybe if she’d paid a little more attention to where they were than how good a kisser Deimos was, then they wouldn’t be in this situation. They could have woken in her bed, had the discussion they’d needed to have, and gone on about their day. Instead, she’d exposed her brother and upset her sister, and she just sucked.
When Nemesis asked her next question, Lottie opened her mouth to immediately reply. Except Dei had just told her to shut up. That was the least she could do, wasn’t it? Especially after getting him into this mess. So she held her tongue, but somehow not saying anything made her feel even worse. As she waited for Deimos to answer Nem, because he’d do a better job of it anyway, Philotes laid her forehead against the mattress and very quietly tried not to cry.
She was going to spend the next thousand years apologizing to both of them and trying to make up for this.
