Jinxes. Curses. Isis knew Harmonia's history, and she wondered if she would ever be able to get beyond such things. Her life had nearly been destroyed because of that damned necklace.
"Far be it for me to question affections of the heart. Osiris still holds my own tightly in his grasp. You of all people are certainly entitled to a bit of happiness. But I can't help but wonder.."
Tyr. Of the Norse. Isis really didn't know a whole lot of the specific deities personally, but she had a basic working knowledge of their philosophies and who and what they stood for. And Frigg. Which reminded Isis that much as she hadn't been taken by the Queen during their only encounter, she did have a promise to fulfill. One more thing to add to her "to do" list.
"Harmonia, dear, how much do you really know about the Norse? For instance, did you know their woman are often left lonely and longing for overly long periods of time? That fidelity, as a whole, is a nearly foreign concept. They run from woman to woman, and the goddesses from man to man, for that matter, like bitches in heat." Considering Harmonia's mother, she was sure she could understand the concept.
Fearing that sounded a bit harsh, she continued on. "Not all of them, of course. I am sure there are those who follow their hearts to the fullest, and do not concern themselves with such things. I hope your Tyr is one of them. I am just asking you not to pin all your hopes of the future on someone you yourself just referred to as an 'acquaintance'. You are worth more than that, dear."
