"I am familiar with Shamash, yes." She nodded, though not expanding on it any more than that. There was no need to speak that she heard much of him before ever having met him, thanks to long evenings spent with Nanshe giggling over the matter like love-struck teenagers. Something she herself had been doing of late. Was this what Nanshe had felt like before she and Shamash had finally come together? Excited, nervous and a little concerned that perhaps it would never come to fruition? Certainly it had been spoken, but Balance had no way of knowing exactly what Nanshe had felt.
Thankfully, Isis quickly diverted the conversation back to the necklace. "I did find it, in Istanbul of all places in the private collection of a widow. It was a horrible mess that day. I thought it was still Greek territory as it had been when I left and I didn't speak Turkish and of course the poor woman didn't speak Ancient Greek." Just as she had when telling the story to Tyr, Harmonia laughed just then, "She had me at gunpoint, though I didn't know that's what it was. That's when Nanshe came, I had only met her briefly once before... right after Cadmus had passed.
"But now I'm here, in this place mostly instead of Olympus." She shrugged and sipped happily on her lemonade. "Olympus doesn't feel like home to me after spending so much time in the heart of mortality. This place," she waved her free hand a bit to indicate the whole of her home she was sharing with the feisty mortal woman, "is a new beginning for me. At least I hope so. I have to learn some of the native plants and flowers, though. I'd like a garden like I have on Olympus. But somehow, I don't think roses would flourish in this climate."
