"Lemonade is perfect," she responded, taking a sip. A bit tart for her own tastes, but very refreshing. She liked the added touch of the lemon slice on the rim of her glass; it spoke of Harmonia's thoughtfulness, rather than the usual expected rituals of hospitality.
She nodded thoughtfully as Balance spoke of putting the past behind her. Something she herself had never been able to fully do, mostly because Set was always throwing it back in her face. If he would just relax a little, instead of always challenging her and her son, they would probably all get on a little better, and maybe then some of her bitterness would fade. Maybe. But it was unlikely she would ever know.

It was odd. For as close as their borders were, as old as both pantheons were in comparison to some, she had never really had much contact with the Sumers. They stuck to themselves, as a general rule, at least from what she had seen, while she herself had found it far more important to become familiar with the Greeks, especially once their realms began to overlap.
