At the greeting of familiarity, Isis turned, a response on her lips, but she paused in puzzlement. This goddess obviously knew her, yet Isis didn't...wait. There was something familiar about her, wasn't there?
Glancing down as Sigyn began introducing herself, she noticed she was holding a severed, charred hand. She turned quickly to set it on the table, hoping the newcomer hadn't noticed. It wasn't exactly the type of thing one wants to see, even under the best of circumstances, which, of course, this hardly was.
She barely heard Sigyn's attempt to help the goddess in her search. She was shuffling through her own mind at the moment. Pothos....mother...of course!
"Harmonia?" It had been so long, so very long. No wonder it had taken Isis so long to recognize her. As they young eyes turned toward the older goddess at the mention of her name, the queen knew she was right. "I would love to say it is good to see you, but..." she left the rest unspoken, waving her arm to indicate the disaster surrounding them.
"Sigyn, dear, this is Harmonia, daughter of Ares and..." She turned her full attention on the Nord. "Aphrodite? Was she here?" That would explain Balance's sudden appearance, as she would certainly sense a shift in the world if not only erotes, but the Goddess of Love herself were among the injured or slain.
Fear began to grip Life's heart, then. She was never a real fan of Aphrodite, but that didn't mean she didn't worry for her safety. What hope could there be for the Greeks, if all Love was being removed from the equation. Or was that the plan all along? Who could have committed such atrocities? Then she thought of her brother. The quest for power can make people do very strange things.
