"Of course I will help, you don't even need to ask, dear." The question, though, was how? This was far more Anubis' realm of knowledge, and while she considered calling on him, it wasn't for Egyptians that the help was needed, and therefore his knowledge would quite possibly be no better than her own. And even if it was, her son was quite bright and had no doubt studied up on beliefs of other lands, she didn't think it was in Sigyn's best interest to bring a complete stranger into the mix for such a delicate task.
Looking down, she suddenly realized what the first course of action was. Her clothing. The nearly transparent gown was not going to suit this type of work, by any stretch of the imagination. A second later she stood in a pair of jeans and a plain black t-shirt, a pair of workmen's style boots on her feet. Might as well be comfortable, and in something she wouldn't have to worry about ruining.
She thought about donning a pair of work gloves, but touching the bodies that way seemed...impersonal, almost an affront to their dignity. She magicked up a very long table against one wall, a stack of plain white sheets beside it, a bucket of water and towels for cleansing the bodies, and several bottles of anointing oils. She didn't know if it was appropriate, but she couldn't see how that single, loving touch could hurt. And it would help with the...well, the smell. Then she began the task of collecting the dead as tenderly as she could.
"Sigyn, do you have any idea who any of their next of kin might be, or what their beliefs are? It might help to decide the best course of action..."
