goddess of revelry, dawn, good health, & dance (uzume) wrote in deities_dot_com,
One minute she's asking Amataresu what she thinks. The next she's got this huge cask in her arms. She was holding it, her eyes looking at it wondering what exactly she was supposed to do. She probably should have said thank you, but she ended up placing it on the ground and attempting to step atop it and roll it back and forth, like a circus clown. If it was anything Uzume knew how to do, it was definitely entertain. Her arms were outstretched to the side for balance as her bare feet danced along the side of the barrel, moving it frontwards and back so she wouldn't fall off. "Woo." She breathed before sticking her tongue out the corner of her mouth, brows furrowing in concentration. This was so much harder drunk.
She seemed to be pretty obliviously to the fact that the others were there, now that she was rolling further forward and further backwards then before, even managing to roll over some peoples feet. This caused her to nearly fall a few times, and eventually...eventually she rolled so far back her bottom hit the railing, the barrel rolled beneath her feet, and she fell over board.
The only testament to this would be the loud shriek that happened upon her descent followed by the sudden stop as she sank into the cold salty water. When she surfaced, she was splashing around like crazy. "ACK! ARGH! AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" She screeched indignantly as she got tangled in the fabric of her kimono, her movement frantic. She could've have probably just popped back up on the deck dry if she wanted, but she wasn't quite thinking straight. She was a little more sober now that her life was in peril, however.
