Amaterasu tilted her head and looked down at Uzume, who was all caught up in ther clothing. Her friend already smelled... drunk. Ama laughed. Helios was not bad looking, but... he was so very naked. And. And.
Naked AND loud. What a catch.
She held up a hand to her friend and turned it this way and that. So-so. She'd have to see about this.
Amaterasu had opened her mouth to actually address Helios, to tell him about herself, when he'd started to make a bee line for the bar and shoved a cask of wine into her hand. She looked at it, eyebrows furrowed, as Uzume and Susa filed by and to the bar, too. She could hear her brother bellowing from behind her and both eyes raised upward as though looking to her own realm for aid.
Well. The wine was in her hand. She wanted to be drinking. Hers now. Amaterasu poured from the cask into her now-empty cup and set the container on the bar, next to her brother.
"I didn't know you had Greek friends, Susa," Amaterasu said. Or any friends. Well. Uzume. But Uzume seemed to like everyone. So she didn't count.
She raised the glass, and took a sip, eyes widening slightly happily. If she was going to be drunk, this was the way to do it.
She took two long gulps and smiled, an actual genuine smile. She suddenly understood why Helios was naked. It had to have been the wine.
Didn't the Greeks have a god just for wine? That suddenly seemed like a brilliant idea. Had she a god in her pantheon just for wine? Amaterasu could not remember, or could not place the face. She started to pout, then took another sip.
Pout gone.
"To answer your question," assuming you even still remember it, "I've heard of every sun god. You perform the same function I do."
She did not doubt that she was better at it than he was, but Helios was growing on her, so Ama held her tongue. She was getting better at the tongue-holding, thanks to Loki.
