Re: Dealing With Ninkasi
Kratos blinked as he heard the large… crocodile? Hippo? Female… whatever she was… when he heard her boom out some rather snarky commands. He made a mental note to ask Thoth about her later. Then visibly cringed when she referred to Enlil as Winnie the Pooh. Okay, maybe he’d ask Thoth about her sooner, because he’d have to contact her next of kin.
But somewhat surprisingly, everybody seemed to just… do what she said. Including the powerful Sumerian. Kratos was only a half step behind Enlil when he moved, his instincts urging him to go to Ninkasi now. If Bast and Kasi were stepping down, that left just one battling divinity left to deal with.
And Kray was horribly, horribly torn. He wanted to get to Ninkasi, actually needed to get to her. But he knew that somebody would need to contain Dionysus, and he felt responsible for the Greek god. Not simply because they were of the same pantheon, but because he was Zeus’s son. His worry was so great that it was etched on his face, the lines wrinkling up his countenance to the point where no one could doubt he had a dilemma.
Desperately seeking a solution, Kratos looked for his brother, hoping Zelos would be able to step in and handle Dionysus. Or at least distract him long enough that Strength could talk to Kasi. Though he didn’t think talking was going to be enough to set his mind at ease. He wanted to take her home, clean her up, bandage her, coddle her. Which probably wouldn’t happen even if everything fell the way he wanted it to, but he couldn’t hold back the desire. She was hurt and he needed to get to her.
