Vidar smirked at Kratos’ obvious-to-everyone-but-Zelos eye roll. Zelos was a bit dramatic, but that was probably necessary when having so many people around to compete for attention with. That brief moment of humor was all they were going to get tonight. He cleared a path for Thor who was carrying Frigg and a very unhappy Hermod out of the fight. Good. Two less people for him to worry about.
He ushered a few more mortals outside then he heard Kratos call his name. Something must be up with Lottie. Time to step in. The Greek was holding Lottie in place next to a boring looking Sumerian. Seemed like his ladylove had tried to wade into the middle of the actual combat. He was thankful that Kratos had been there to stop her.
The Norseman silently took Lottie from Kratos’ grip and slung her over his shoulder. He nodded his thanks to the Greek and then bowed a little more formally, if not much deeper, to the Sumerian. Vidar was getting the impression that he was a rather important member of that pantheon. If that were so, why was he just watching? Not his concern, really. But Lottie was and he had to get her outside.
She was not very happy with him. He knew that she wanted to help, she always did. It was one of the many things he loved about her. He just couldn’t let her back into that mess. He raised his eyebrow when she threatened to not have sex with him for a month. He gave her two weeks, tops. Once they were outside, Vidar put Lottie down and stood behind her. He put his arms around her, resting his chin on the top of her head. She wasn’t going anywhere.
