Iris was very well acquainted with Hera's schedule, so when her messenger brought her the invitation to tea, she didn't even bother to look in her planner. Obviously either she had nothing planned for this afternoon, or at least nothing important that could not be rescheduled. The queen simply nodded to her messenger, then went to change her clothing.
Because a pressed linen suit in an elegant cream was suitable for a day in her office, with the appointments that regularly occurred in that room. However, it would never do for a bit of tea with her granddaughter. No, for that sort of occasion, something more casual would be in order.
She considered, then rejected, the idea of slacks and a blouse. That was still too... stiff. And after their last conversation, that was not what Hera wanted to be with Harmonia. They had reached and accord that Hera was loathe to lose. So she chose a lovely sundress, with a floaty skirt and bared shoulders, that she would be more likely to wear in her gardens than out on a visit. Yes, that would do nicely. Along with some flat sandals. Very comfortable.
Attired in a manner that pleased her, Hera set off to Harmonia's home on Olympus with a pleasant smile on her face. An expression that stayed there until she reached her granddaughter's abode and heard a voice coming from the rear. Following the sound, Hera located Harmonia in a small but pleasant garden. Accompanied by a pig. Who was apparently named Bubbles.
"I do hate to interrupt," she said quietly, "but I believe Bubbles may have just dug up the daylily bulbs near the fence. You do not wish her to eat those, I'm sure."
