Loki hadn't, actually. Because he hadn't been watching for Thor. Because Thor mostly wasn't a threat any longer. Though, he supposed he may have omitted that on accident. Not telling Sigyn that he had spoken in an alarmingly public-private manner with Thor, at his former best-friend's summoning, had not been at all intentional. He was glad to have emerged unscathed and then... things just sort of... well, time got away from him.
“Yeah,” he conceded, “and the loud Egyptian standing between him and the food is Taweret. I'd put my money on her.” Loki sighed and gave Sigyn a sheepish look. “I owe you an explanation, and I say this now so you can remind me later, when the timing suits you... but as long as our aim is not to piss him off...” He sighed again. “For the most part, I do not think Thor is of any threat to us.” There was a brief pause before he continued, “I have spoken with him.”
He hated that it had been a secret because it could have gone so poorly and left her widowed. “You don't have to say anything to him, ever, if you don't want to. But I'd rather not have to spend my life having to walk away from everything we want to do just because someone from our past is there if there's an ability to be cordial. It will severely limit our ability to mix with other pantheons.”
Loki took her hand and pressed his lips to her knuckles. “I'm sorry I didn't tell you, Sig. It was not intentional. If you prefer to go to the bar, we can do that instead. Whatever you would like.”
