The story struck Sif; it was her greatest fear that she would lose one of her precious children. She went a little cold, and shivered. Loki and Signe's boys were never that far from her mind, it seemed. But at least this young goddess had friends like Philotes, and it sounded like family as well, to support her. Sif wondered what that was like. She simply was not close to anyone in such a way. Hedylogos was the closest, and she cherished him, but she didn't think she was his best friend. Surely, he had many close companions among his siblings...
Of course. She almost smacked her forehead in realization. Peithos and Harmonia, his half-sisters from his mother, Aphrodite. She felt bad for not remembering if she'd spoken much to Harmonia before, but it was only in the last few centuries that Sif had strayed far from Asgard as it was. Smiling, she replied, "You are very lucky to have someone like that in your life. And it sounds like you have had quite the life indeed." Wondering if it would reassure her, Sif added, "Vidar is a good man, solid and dependable. He will treat her well."
