He was right, of course. The entire party was suited to their hosts, down to the smallest details. They'd put quite a bit of thought and preparation into the party, and Seshat felt that they should find a way to thank Nyx and Erebos if possible.
Before she could make the suggestion, though, Thoth asked her a very odd question. One that she wasn't entirely certain she fully understood. Seshat paused to think about the wording of his query, trying to understand if she was missing some point. But she concluded that he meant it as he said it. Which did not help her to know how to answer him, because she wasn't sure why he was asking.
"I am not sure," she admitted. "Most of the time, when we are in a social situation, it is you that take the lead. I have always been content with that, because I do like seeing you enjoy yourself. But if you are asking for my preference, I do think that it might be nice to get a drink. I'd like to see if they have any of those to match the theme as well."
Normally, Seshat was not much of a drinker. But it was a special occasion, so it might be fun to indulge a bit this evening.
