Zelos was looking forward to his grandparents party. Nyx always threw spectacular soirees and it was a good reason to check in with his Underworld relations. He didn’t avoid them by any means, but his duties to Zeus did not allow much time for visiting family.
He had put on a black suit with a grey shirt and tie. The mask he had chosen matched his attire quite nicely, in his opinion. He thought Hera might even approve of his wardrobe this evening. He doubted the mask would hide his identity, but he didn’t think that was really the point of the party.
Speaking of not hiding his identity, Zee easily spotted his brother in the crowd. Kratos was not a small man and Zee could tell his brother was watching the room for threats. Just as Zee was. It was never easy to leave the job behind.
Rivalry caught up with his brother just as Kray reached Styx. He thought their mother looked beautiful and told her as much. He put his arm around his brother and patted Kray’s chest. “I see I missed the memo on the dress code tonight. I have too much black on.”
