“I don't think he cares,” Ninkasi remarked, looking at the stage with a bit of confusion. “Or maybe the bachelorette party will climb up there and start licking it off,” she added, looking at the ridiculous enthusiasm from that table... already.
She shook her head and started to take a drink, glancing about the room a bit -wondering if there was a way to duck out discreetly if she really needed to. It was possible that Reshi was going to drop the topic but that didn't improve the fact that she felt utterly foolish now –and not just because she hadn't considered that her aunt was going to want to know what happened.
Off near the door, she spied Taweret and... Seshat? Which were now heading in their direction.

“Did you invite Taweret?” She asked her aunt. “Because she's walking over here.”
And now Ninkasi really wanted to find an excuse to leave. Maybe she could text someone to make up an emergency for her.
