It was a logical question. Taweret wasn't going to snap at her for asking or tell her no. Plus, there was no way it was a rude question when put into perspective with the information she had laid out thus far. “Well,” she said and stood, “it's far more difficult to just explain than just me with some damn animal head. But, I'm sure you figured that out.” She grinned.
Moving out of the room for a moment, when she returned it was with a framed reproduction of an old image of her original known form. Far easier and less terrifying than just taking the form itself. “Sometimes,” Taweret set the frame on the table near Sigyn to look at however she chose. “It is easier to show someone than try to explain it. As you can probably see.”
There was a moment of pause while she sat back down and took a sip of coffee.
“I was never ashamed and I never wanted to be any different. My family loved me, I had no shortage of attentions before Bes was ever in the picture... What did it matter, really, what the people thought?”
