It gave Sigyn a surge of happiness and pride to hear someone else say that Loki was a good guy. They were not new emotions for her regarding her husband, she'd always been proud of who he was because she knew him. But others in her pantheon never seemed to take the time to do the same, so it was both odd and gratifying to have it come from an outside source. It pleased her a great deal, actually.
“Oh, I wasn't there,” Sigyn explained in response to the question. “I don't think they'd have even tried it if I had been home. And in fact, they tried to cover up the evidence that anything had happened, but a certain Greek somebody has a vlog wherein he talks about all kinds of things. And his codewords aren't nearly as clever as he likes to think.”
She paused to take a sip of her coffee, trying not to wince at the strength of the bitterness. Which was her own fault. She'd forgotten how strongly it was brewed in this part of the world. More sugar was added, and a bit of cream.
“And I have only had the chance to meet Bes in passing, I'm afraid. But it's very nice for Loki to have friends that are...” Sigyn paused, considering. She didn't want to badmouth the Norse. Not because they didn't deserve it, but because she didn't know how confidential this particular conversation was. “Appreciative of him for himself.”
