Hera made a noncommittal noise in the back of her throat as she took another few bites of her dinner. It was only one word, but the way he said it spoke volumes to a woman that had known him as long as Hera had. He was ready for the pursuit, he was just waiting for his prey to run.
Except she'd never been one to take a passive role. So after a moment she said, "I'll take that into consideration. It will depend."
Then she smiled slowly, the look in her eyes distinctly predatory. She wasn't anybody's prey, and she wasn't going to run. But he was still going to chase if Hera had anything to say about it.
