I look forward to the results of their continued studies.” This wasn't really where Zeus wanted the conversation to linger. But, there wasn't an easy, un-accusatory way to segue into asking why she'd been doing damn near everything she could to avoid his company.
The lack of wine having been poured was a bit of an annoyance, however. The conversation was going to require wine. Well, scotch or bourbon probably, but that would be rather gauche for the dinner. Zeus gestured gently to have one of the staff fix the lack of wine issue with minimal delay. It was all attention he was going to give to it unless it went ignored.
It wouldn't. No one under his employ was that foolish. At least not recently.
