That was one of the things Lottie adored most about Thoth: he never questioned it when she started babbling. Other people would express amazement, amusement or confusions. Sometimes, they'd ask her to repeat things, or they'd make some kind of funny comment. Thoth never did those things, he just listened and took it all in. It made talking to him monumentally easier than almost anybody else she knew. Except Vidar. He sort of did that too, in his own silent way.
"So you're looking for something romantic?" Philotes clarified, somewhat amused. Thoth wasn't exactly the flowers and chocolates sort of guy, and really, she wasn't sure Seshat would know what to do if he came home with some. He was right, they were very practical people. But practical and romantic didn't have to be mutually exclusive.
"Alright, let's start with some easy questions to try to narrow things down," she mused. "What's Seshat's favorite color? Does she like music? Other than books, what makes her eyes light up?"
