“Oh yes,” he replied with the excitement of a small child on Christmas who'd just opened the gift that was the new toy truck they didn't know they'd always wanted, but then told their parents they'd always wanted. Children were funny that way. Both funny as in peculiar and humorous. “It was a lecture to culminate the end of Banned Books Week discussing the history of taboo, forbidden and banned language, ideas and literature.”
He grinned down at the Greek. “It was completely compelling. I find the concept of it all both fascinating and appalling at the same time, but I do adore listening to the rationalizations they do come up with to censor each other.” Thoth chuckled.
“Shall we find some coffee? I would like to find some myself, or perhaps some tea... which I know a coffee shop can manage the latter... but I find most of their menus cumbersome and illogical.” His free hand patted her arm where it looped through his, “if you would be willing to help an old man such as myself navigate complicated coffee, I would be eternally grateful.”
