Thor was right, all she was doing was assuming things. But that was really her only option at the moment. In this regard all she really had was the experience of watching others to draw upon, it was vastly different than anything else. She'd tried talking it out and that had led to kind of a fight, which led to her feeling really depressed for having started said fight by bringing the whole conversation up in the first place. Doing was sort of what led them into this to begin with, so it wasn't exactly going to lead them back out again.
Honestly, Ninkasi was terrified that talking again was just going to start another fight that they wouldn't be able to pedal out of this time. Though, to be fair, it wasn't like they were talking now. Which was obviously just not working for her.
She knew what she was going to have to do. Kratos was being polite and giving her space, at least she hoped that was what he was doing, and waiting for her to decide when it was time to talk again. Sometimes she really wished he wasn't so committed to that nice-guy thing. Ninkasi thought that he needed to drop it sometimes in order to make headway.
Busting down her door instead of just waiting for a conversation she was avoiding because she was scared of it was probably one of those instances.
It was rather surreal that Thor was the voice of reason and logic and she was the one all messed up over things. So much so that Ninkasi looked up at him and said, "this is too heavy. Way too heavy. Food?"
