Seshat nodded, acknowledging what Styx said. It was the more correct way of phrasing the sentiment, even if it wasn't strictly true. She could indeed begin to imagine what it was like, it simply would be inaccurate due to lack of actual experience. But the connotations implied in the other woman's sentence gave it more impact.
"Yes, of course," she said aloud. Then realized that perhaps Styx would misunderstand, so she clarified. "I don't have any of my own."
Then she gave a broad smile, "But I'm very glad to hear that Kratos regards Thoth as warmly as my husband does him. He's such a dear, always polite, always inquisitive, always helpful. He even calls ahead to let us know when he will visit. I always get extra beer for his stops, as I know they will spend quite a bit of time in discussion."
Seshat tried to think what her sister might do in a situation where she'd met someone that wasn't overly warm to her. No, it was probably not best to do what Taweret would do. Seshat didn't have the panache to carry it off, or the physicality to back it up. So she went with the other thing that came to mind. "Perhaps you'd like to visit some time?"
