She was not discussing why she named her goat what she did. She'd already explained it as much as she intended to. And his excuse, after saying "no excuses," really kind of sucked. This was one of those times when he could use a few more words, she felt.
"You know," she mused, "I had a girls' night not too long ago, with Harmonia and Idun. And you know that Harmonia's dating Tyr, right? And obviously you know about Idun and Bragi. So they were talking about their relationships and how things were going, and they wanted to know about my relationship, except, I couldn't say anything, because I don't really have a relationship as far as I can tell, and I don't know if I should call you my boyfriend, if we're just casually dating, or what exactly is going on with us, because you went all radio silence on me, and there's Idun, all squealy about all of us being with brothers, so we're almost like sisters, except we're not, because I'm not with you, I'm an afterthought that comes somewhere after broken PLUMBING!"
She vaguely heard Bubbles' hooves scrambling across the floor, kicking kibble out of her path, as she ran to get away from the yelling. Great. She'd traumatized a tiny pig. And she wasn't going to cry. She wasn't. He didn't deserve tears. She was not going to cry.
