And then it went from bad to worse because Dionysos had apparently been loud enough to attract Tyr's attention, and he was now at her side and honestly, there was no way she could look at his face yet without going into an immediate string of apologies for her grandson's behavior, which risked upsetting Dio and that was far from what she wanted to do. He wasn't hurting anyone, he had been trying to help, he was her grandson and she's just now seen him for the first time since the events that immediately followed the Pentheus incident.
What she did first was raise a finger at Tyr, without looking at him, to say 'just a moment.' Then she grabbed the offered crystal glass and without caring what was in it at all, drank. All of it. It took a couple swallows, but she was not in a proper state to be sipping anything slowly, no matter the quality or what it was. It was delicious, but she drained the glass completely.
Then Harmonia closed her eyes, took a deep breath to relax a bit and moved the glass over to her prop tray. “Dio, sweetie,” she said as calmly as she could and opened her eyes. Harmonia was not upset with him, a little embarrassed, but no one was hurt, it was fine. “Thank you. You were very helpful, dear. As you see, he has found us.” That was the moment when she took the offered hand.
Smiling, moderately forced since she was still embarrassed, Harmonia then looked up at Tyr and gave a slow nod saying she would explain all this later. “Tyr, I don't believe you have met Dionysos... my grandson. He knew I was looking for you...”
