Idun laughed at Frigg's question. It was SO like her to be so kind and read into Idun's desire to let it all be in the past. "It was WONDERFUL! We went to the French Riviera," she clarified as she opened the pretty bag. "Not that we did much sightseeing, of course..."
"You know how it is. You settle into marriage, and every day life, and then you get that special time that reminds you of what it all was about...OH, FRIGG!! These are so cute!" She held up the pair of barrettes in delight. Swarovski crystal blossoms surrounded a single golden crystal cut into the shape of an apple on each barrette. Quickly, she pulled her hair out of her ponytail and clipped her hair back into her new treasures. Turning her head this way and that, she inquired of the Foremost how they looked.
Without waiting for an answer, she bounded out of the room to look in the bathroom mirror. Frigg would hear a loud squeal of delight before she made her way back.
"They are perfect! Thank you SO much!" She reached down and gave Frigg a big hug.
"What was I saying before?" as she sat down beside Frigg. She couldn't stop touching the barrettes. "Oh, right. Riviera. What we did see was very pretty."
