Isis began to pour, forcing herself not to purse her lips. There was no denying that she wished Harmonia had handled things differently. If she had only come to her, called upon the Egyptian, she could have found a different avenue for Balance to take. But each must do what they think is right, despite what others believe, and Harmonia had made her choices. Even if Life couldn't understand them.
"You could always have come here, dear. I hope you know you would always have a home and a shoulder to lean on, should you ever find yourself needing one." Perhaps they couldn't change what had been, but Isis hoped Harmonia would realize she would never have to face things alone should things get to difficult again. She also sincerely hoped that life would treat her better this time around, and that such choices would not have to be made again.
"How has that been? I imagine that there is so much to acclimate to, and all the family to visit." Isis could only guess how that might have gone. Harmonia had harbored such resentment. Perhaps she now had an opportunity to let some of that be resolved.
"Your father and mother? I imagine you have had a chance to speak with them? And your grandparents?"
It was all said rather gently, despite the bit of reservation Isis felt. Harmonia's parents had been less than supportive, and as for Zeus and Hera, Isis wasn't entirely sure they understood how much family meant.
Isis had made mistakes, all parents do. But she liked to think that her children all knew she loved them and would do anything for the. She wasn't sure Harmonia had ever received that kind of support. Perhaps now, after all this time, her family would see that and correct their ways.
