House on Haunted Hill (Underworld Rulers)
It wasn't exactly a formal affair. She didn't want to have everything bogged down by formalities and niceties for the entire night. She enjoyed catching up with other rulers. There were always plenty of stories to share and things to learn from each other. In her experience, the rulers of the dead had a much more interesting view on the world of the living. A lot of gods stopped dealing with people after they bit the dust. The ones that were invited to the party did a lot of the work after that point.
Nothing had been changed for their arrival. The castle, non-drafty, was dark and looming. It had a classic Gothic design. It had dark corners, large stained glass windows which were highlighted by the candlelight. The carpets were all sorts dramatically deep reds mixed with black. The artwork were several macabre pieces. Hades' friend did like to have his fun.
The table was set properly with candelabras strategically placed to give the most light amongst the food. The dinner itself was prepared by several servants, not including Phobetor's own Igor. He did, however, answer the door with the tried and true "You rang." as he'd been trained to do. The wine flowed as freely as anyone wished it to, and there was even soft music playing behind them from the wonderful stereo system that had been installed so that atmospheric instrumentals could be played whenever needed.
"My dear friends, I can't say enough times how lovely it is to have you all here," she said placing her hand on Hades' own as she said it. "Oh, and before I forget, Phobetor has given us free roam around the house if you would like to explore after dinner."
[ooc: We can have a main dinner thread and then people can break off into different ridiculous parts of Phobetor's mansion. Don't forget there are secret passages, trap doors, a hedge maze....and the stairs do turn into a go-cart ramp, because of Mario Cart.]
