Brotherly Advisement (tag: Vidar)
Tyr was worried.
Not about his brother, which is what he really should have been worried about. Bragi's continued disappearance was certainly on his mind, but it was another matter that had him currently concerned.
He'd asked Harmonia out. For Valentine's Day. The implications were huge. What on earth had he been thinking? She probably had no idea what February 14th meant, but she would find out. A day for lovers, for sweethearts, for sharing time with that very special someone. This was bad. This was really, really bad. And yet it could be so very, very good.
No matter how he tried to focus elsewhere, his mind kept dwelling on it. Circling, doing a pendulum swing between horrified and excited. He needed to find out if what he had done could be as big a mistake as he thought it was, and if a way out of it should be considered. He needed a calm mind. Someone to talk it out with, if only to vocalize his own thoughts and put things in proper perspective.
Considering he was a grown man, his father was right out. Not to mention that Odin's advice would probably revolve around sleeping with the girl and getting it out of his system. Hermod was about as useful as a pair of holey socks in January when it came to women, and Thor- well, he needed to figure out his own shit before he could help someone else. There were others he might have considered, but it was his quieter brother who Tyr turned to. Of all his brothers, he was the one Tyr felt closest to.
Vidar's door was unlocked, so he stomped the snow off his feet and let himself in. Family didn't knock, they entered, provided the home in question was open. It was always a possibility that he might be having a private moment with someone of the opposite sex, but the middle of the afternoon seemed safe and the door would have been secured if that were the case. Just to be safe, Tyr called out to alert his brother of his presence.
"Hey, Vid? You around? It's Tyr."
