Re: Anteros heading toward the bar, Hypnos, Pasithea, Pothos leaving and Open
The light pressure of her lips was far more exciting and rewarding to him than Eris' had been, despite the fact that it came nowhere near his lips. He had known she was there, a heartbeat before he'd even heard her voice, he'd known she was there. It felt like a missing puzzle piece clicked into place when she was nearby, and he'd smiled without knowing why and then he'd heard her speak. With her fingers trailing through his hair, he looked up to behold the most beautiful wife in all of creation.
He barely heard Pothos take his leave, his eyes fixed upon one of the faces he'd been searching for since he arrived. He gave her a smile and replied, “I am aware it was a kiss, pale replica though it might be. I wasn't questioning the action, but the motivation.” Then to reassure her, because there had been something said by someone on the subject, he added, “I am not going to surf.”
But he couldn't concentrate on her as completely as he wished to. Anteros kept speaking, and it would probably be considered rude to totally ignore him. So Hypnos turned his head to look at the erote just as he mentioned turtles. Squinting a bit, he noted the movement on the beach and corrected, “No, I do not think they are mating. They are very small. I believe they are hatching.”
His gaze went back to his wife. “Do you want something to drink, or would you like to watch the mad dash for life?”
